Terms & Conditions

1: Any instruction to carry out work/repairs constitutes a verbal contract and is legally binding.

​

2: Estimates are produced as a guide to costs only. By the nature of some works carried out additional tasks may be identified that will attract new charges. Authority will be sought before such works are carried out. Such works may include, but are not limited to, making good previous work to enable new works to be carried out.

3: Accounts must be settled on completion of works, unless payment terms are agreed beforehand.

 

4: Without prejudice, Miss Maintenance reserves the right to enforce payment, if the Customer fails to make payment in accordance with items 2/3, Miss Maintenance shall be entitled to charge interest on any outstanding balance from the date the balance became due for payment, at the monthly rate of 4% above the base lending rate of the Bank of England until payment is made, whether before or after any judgement.

 

5: Title of goods and all materials shall not pass until full payment is received as cleared funds.

 

6: Disposal of waste materials remains the responsibility of the Customer, unless prior arrangement has been made. This will attract a disposal charge at the current rate.

 

7: For large works a deposit may be requested Usually 1/3 of the estimate or an agreed amount. This is due before any work commences. Should you cancel my services the deposit will be refunded less any monies spent on materials and/or other costs incurred. Any remainder of monies owed or additional cost will be required upon completion of the work. Acceptance of any estimate is acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Any request to carry out work is done on the understanding that you agree to the Terms and Conditions.
